This device is one of the most helpful and versatile tools you can own and is essential if doing more than simple yes/no electrical tests. You’ll use it most frequently for measuring Voltage (electrical pressure), both DC (Direct Current) and AC (Alternating Current), but also for checking Ohms (resistance), Amperage (current flow), Hertz (frequency), and Continuity.  Below is a link for the multimeter we are using, this Craftsman digital multimeter will cover most of your needs.
